Ghosts, Wraiths, Ghouls, and poltergeists are but a few of the supernatural predators that stalk the night. Each of these spirits is doomed to haunt, bound to walk the earth until judgment day. There is almost always a reason why the poor souls can not find rest. Perhaps their souls are trapped between worlds, some cannot rest until they find a certain person or object that was important to them in life. Some may not even realize they are dead.

Harbinger: These ghostly apparitions appear exclusively to those who are about to die. Seeing them is an omen of forthcoming death or terrible misfortune. Some Harbingers appear exclusively to specific races or families, such as Ireland's Banshee, which wails outside the door of those who are about to perish. Others are less fickle and may appear to those who are about to die no matter who they are. Aside from the Banshee, those who encounter the Bean Nigh or the Black dogs had best get their affairs in order and make their peace with God while they still can.
